to discuss details with team and decide what to do with particular test cases further

MVP for me would be to being able to write 1 text comment (reply) to the tester’s comment.
Next step could be to be able to comment back and forth between tester and others in a thread.
Next step could be to support pasting images.
Thanks in advance!

What’s the status of this one? It changed to Planned 5 months back, anything happened since then? It’s still something we really would like as now we need to take all test discussions in Slack instead.

@Magnus Bondesson sorry, but it was not prioritized by dev team as not commonly required by many users thus it’s still planned for 0.5.20, namely it should be in 1.5 month
The Resolution
Any update on this?
Has 0.5.20 been released?
Where can I see a changelog and latest version?

please check this feature request on Github https://github.com/testomatio/app/issues/667

link to changelog https://changelog.testomat.io/
also, you can join our slack https://bit.ly/3wu3yRn
I can’t seem to find if it’s been released or not. I don’t see the feature in our Testomat so I assume not?

The feature hasn’t been implemented yet, but it’s added to backlog and assigned to the next milestone. So we plan to release in the nearest future

Great! When can we use it? I was looking for this feature in our Testomat but can’t find it anywhere. Will it be deployed soon?
Thanks for the changelog, but when is it live? I created a new test run now and it still doesn’t show there, see https://app.testomat.io/projects/dp/runs/launch/8f66da4f#

Comments available on test cases but not test run.
Test Run will covered soon.
Ok good. Now I’m wondering whether the original requester (5 years ago) actually meant to comment on test cases. When I commented this (2 years ago) I mentioned commenting completed test run. I didn’t even consider (or understand) why someone would want to comment the test case itself. :) Good to hear it’s coming soon, does that mean within 3 months?

that’s on our backlog now to complexly improve collaboration and we’re going to add following Q2 and Q3
